Jenkin Hill Internet

Search engine optimisation.

All Jenkin Hill created sites optimised for the known search engine requirements at the time of publication and are registered with the major search engines and Internet indexes on completion.

For those clients requiring promotion using pay for listing or pay for placement search engines and services we offer a registration and bidding maintenance program.

For on-going promotion, search engine ratings are regularly checked. Automated methods of rank checking and submission are not used as they are often unreliable and their use is not acceptable to many search engines. All registrations are performed manually and positioning is checked manually. When necessary web page coding is updated to take best advantage of changes in search engine algorithms.

Additionally, suitable promotional messages may be posted in relevant news groups and links may be exchanged with other related web sites.

For those web sites not designed by us, we can still provide a full promotion service. This can take the form of promotion of the site as it stands. However, many sites do not perform well because they are not set up with sufficient consideration given to search engine requirements or are badly coded. In these cases a re-design of the site may be required.

We can review a site and advise on the best route for search engine optimisation and subsequent promotion. Promotion of a site takes a lot of time and may involve waiting several weeks (or even months) to get into certain directories and search engines, but the end result will be increased visitors to your site. And every visitor is a potential customer.

All promotion is undertaken without the use of spamming techniques such as invisible text, overuse of keywords and 'doorway pages' - most of which simply don't work anymore and are potentially subject to severe penalisation by all major search engines, leading to a total loss of indexing. We work to the SeoPros "best practices" standard.

Site promotion is important. A site which is neither properly optimised nor correctly promoted is of little value!

Every web site owner receives countless unsolicited phone calls and spam emails offering to "Get your site noticed" or "In the top 3 on AOL".

Many of these organisations use techniques which are regarded as unethical by most search engine optimisation professionals and could result in your site being permanently removed from the major search engines.

Most professional search engine optimisation companies do not resort to spam in order to generate more business.
